In November 2022 I rented an apartment in Kyiv. I didn’t stay in the press hotel, instead I lived like anyone in Kyiv, shopping in the local grocery stores, saying hello to neighbours and standing shoulder to shoulder in the underground shelters during the air raids.
I wish to capture some essence of the awful situation of everyday Ukrainians without writing about specific battles. I have a bunch of articles published and unpublished written in the ground there and will be sharing them soon.
